Wow! Have you seen the new Pillows? They now sport brand spanking new colors!! Bring your sunglasses cause these colors are sure to be bright!!

We also have new additions to the family. Let me introduce them to you:
* Chewy- Chewy is a pastel blue and magenta beaver with a large magenta paddle like tail and a cute dark blue nose and don't foget those buck teeth. He'll be sure to charm his way into your home!
* Kolala- Kolala the Koala from the down Unda is a beautiful orange marsupial
with blue and orange ears and a blue belly!! Be sure to check out his purple
nose!
* Rusty- Rusty is a yellow Lotor with a striped brown and tan tail and cute
little yellow whiskers, what an adorable racoon!!

We must give a warm welcome to some retired Pillows who have returned sporting new designs:
* Ribbit- This frog was a September 98 Retiree and has returned changing from his pastel yellow and green look to his new bright red, yellow, green and blue look! This frog must have taken a dip in a magical rainbow pond!
* Huggy- Huggy the January 98 Retiree has returned leaving his pal snuggy and his pastel blue color behind and is now a bright yellow bear with red ears and nose a pastel green muzzle and a cute orange tail.
* Snap- And lets give a nice welcome to Snap the Turtle the May 98 Retiree. Snap used to be green and yellow, but now he's green, orange and purple and his shell is Tye-Dye! How Neat!!!!

Well then what about the currents? Well some currents have stayed and some have sadly left us. But those who stayed were also dipped in wonderful new colors:
* Antlers- Say good bye to the old Orange and brown Antlers, he's now yellow, purple and green! How fun! This will make the original Antlers really sought after. He was only out for a couple months!!
* Baba- Baba is no longer the white lamb with the nappy fur we all once knew. She is now a soft purple and yellow lamb that will surely win your heart with her cuteness!
* Carrots- Carrots the once pink/orange bunny has given a new meaning to the name "Carrots". Carrots is now green and orange like the vegetable itself!
* Meow- Have you ever seen a Siamese cat that had blue & yellow ears, a purple body, green paws, a blue nose and a yellow spot on its face? Well then you must see the new and improved Meow. This is Meow's 3rd color change and hopefully Meow's best one yet!
* Paddles- Paddles is longer the magenta Platypus with a yellow beak. He is now light green Platypus with yellow feet and an orange beak. And now Paddles has finally won himself a bow!! Its Orange to go with his beak! He must be so excited!
* Sherbet- Introducing tye-dye Sherbet!! What is it your saying? He was
already tye-dye?  Sherbet color scheme is a livelier and colorful tye-dye than before. You'll swear you've never seen a tye-dye bear once you've set your eyes on this cute little bear.
* Squirt- Squirt is definitely new and improved. He has an improved trunk which has a hint of purple at its tip. He is still the pastel blue ephelant (oops I mean elephant) but now sports purple to go with his lovely blue!
* Swinger- Don't be shocked when you see this Blue & yellow monkey "swinging" your way. He's definitely real and just as sweet as
the old swinger. CHeck out his puppy dog eyes and his sweet countenance!
* Woof- Last but not least, Woof the dog. Woof used to be tan with brown ears, but guess what? His ears are now BRIGHT YELLOW! Have you ever seen such a thing? What a cutie!

The clerk turned on the light and said in a nice sweet voice "morning
everyone!". All us pillows and stuffies yawned and stretched and tried to
adjust to the drastic light change. The clerk smiled at all of us and said
"It's a really special day today, lots of people are outside the store waiting to bring all you lovely critters home!". This was music to our ears. We have been sitting on these shelves anxiously awaiting some nice shopper to take us to their home and to care for us. We cleaned ourselves up and put on our best smile. We could hear the chatter outside the door of the Noah's store we lived in.

The clerk dragged out a big box of bagged up stuffies. 12 in one bag! That must be uncomfortable. She took out all the bean filled critters and put them all on display behind the register. Its almost time for the store to open and us pillows are so excited!! The other stuffies are too. Rose the beagle dog who is the oldest resident of Noah's is probably the most excited of all of us. She has been in the store for over 2 years and always has a great big smile for the customers who come in. I think her face must hurt by the end of the day! Rose is convinced that this will be the day that a human person comes to take her home and care for her like she deserves. She fluffs up her fur and makes sure that today's smile is bigger than every other one she's ever done.

The friendly clerk winks at all of us and says "its almost time". Wow! What a commotion outside the door. A friendly police man who works @ the mall is out there trying to calm those people down! We all do last minute preparations and fix ourselves real good. It's finally 10am and now the store opens. A rush of people burst into the store! Rose is so excited she's almost going to faint!

The crowd gathers in front of the registers and all the stuffies that we saw the clerk display were being sold so incredibly quickly. They didn't even last 10 minutes on the shelves. People shouted out things like "I want a Halo" "Let me have one Santa and one Pumkin" "Can I get a 98 Teddy" "Throw me a Beak and a Scorch" . The friendly clerk is sweating and moving about so quickly. We wait anxiously hoping the crowd will eventually move to our side of the store to take a look at us. But they all leave one by one with the stuffies that were once behind the register and now are all gone. And within 30 minutes of opening the store is almost empty.

We are all sad and disappointed and some are even flustered. We had hoped so much that a loving person would take us home! We all turned to Rose because she was the most excited of us all and we were sure she'd be disappointed too. I was amazed to see that her smile did not turn into a frown. She just looked at all of us with her big huge smile and said "Don't you worry my friends there will be others and sure enough there are plenty of loving homes that are just waiting for us". A couple of us were lucky and were taken to a warm cozy home that day and the rest of us just went back to  sleep and dreamed about when our lucky day would come.

This is back when I lived in a store called Noah's before Raquel was gracious enough to take me home to her pillows. I still wonder about Rose. She was still there when I left. I hope her big smile is being enjoyed by a nice family who is caring for her. And if not I know the stuffies that she lives with are a great family for her too!
